 Senior Director of Procurement and Inventory at VIA Rail Canada 

Tracy Power is the Senior Director of Procurement and Inventory at VIA Rail Canada.  She joined VIA in 2015 as Senior Manager Procurement and in 2016 was named Director of Procurement and Inventory.   In her current role, she oversees the strategic sourcing, inventory management, vendor performance management and governance for VIA Rail’s Procurement across eight provinces.  Her knowledge and understanding of the rail industry and of VIA’s operations, combined with her sourcing experience and visionary thinking, have contributed to several successful strategic negotiations in recent years.  In addition to her 8 years in the Railway Industry, she is currently completing her last year as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Railway Club.

For more than 20 years, her career has expanded over several industries including transportation, communications, information technology services, and real estate. She is passionate about helping people achieve success, personal development, and providing valuable service. 

Tracy left her hometown of Sept-Iles at the age of 19 to study in Psychology and Administration at McGill University.  Determination, courage, curiosity, and achieving goals have been and continue to be motivating factors in her personal and professional achievements.
