A dynamic leader with 30 years of experience in the international railway sector, Josée holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke. Her career has been diverse, both in terms of the positions she has held, and the knowledge gained through various international assignments across several continents.
Josee has held key roles in the areas of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Procurement and Supply Chain, Bid management, Strategy and now Rail Services.
In addition to working in North America, she has held assignments in Asia, Europe, and more recently in Australia, where she led a complex public-private partnership bids related to rail for three years.
Based in Quebec, Canada, she now leads the Services product line for Alstom North America, overseeing a dedicated team of approximately 3,900 experts across more than 35 service centers in Canada and the United States. Alstom Services, North America’s largest private rail operator offers a comprehensive range of customized services, including maintenance, modernization, digitization, parts and repairs, and support, performing major fleet and locomotive renewals, overhaul of major components and sales of parts for various fleets in North America.
The team operates and maintains light rail trains in 17 airports and 12 transit authorities, including urban lines such as Metrolinx in the Greater Toronto Area.
