RAC President and CEO Marc Brazeau appeared before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities on the issue of rail safety. RAC members take rail safety seriously – in fact, it’s their number one priority. Canadian railways are among the safest in the world; something we are extremely proud of. Our members follow strict guidelines to ensure that Canadians who work in rail or who live near rail are always protected. These steps include training first responders on the transportation of dangerous goods, investing in infrastructure, operating the newest safety technology and so much more.
