Scott McDade, Enhanced Train Control Consultant
Scott is a consultant and has led the RAC’s ETC Program since 2018. In this role, he supports the participating railways in developing standards to allow ETC systems to be interoperable and engages with Transport Canada regarding planned ETC regulations. Scott worked at CP for 33 years in roles related to network operations management, operating rules, Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) systems, operations and regulatory compliance during Positive Train Control (PTC) implementation in the US.
