Ryan Pidde joined Mickelson & Co in 2008 and has 16 years of experience assisting short line railroads in the United States with funding railroad track improvements with state and federal tax credits, grant programs, and other incentive funding.
Mickelson & Company is a specialty finance firm that works with over 100 short line railroad companies across the U.S. and the firm has facilitated over $3 billion in short line railroad infrastructure improvements since 2005.
Mickelson & Company has also been instrumental in working with the U.S. short line industry to sucessfully develop state level tax programs in 10 states.
Prior to joining Mickelson & Company, Ryan worked for South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds where he was involved in facilitating and financing economic development opportunities.
Ryan is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Ryan lives in Sioux Falls, SD with his wife Kia and three daughters (Stella, Georgia and Penelope). In his free time Ryan enjoys golfing, snow skiing and live music.
