Il s\u2019agit du premier rapport pr\u00e9par\u00e9 dans le cadre de ce PE, bien qu\u2019il soit bas\u00e9 sur les rapports du programme SEL r\u00e9gis par des PE remontant \u00e0 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SPARK-RAC-LEM-2023-FR.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">T\u00e9l\u00e9charger le rapport complet 2023<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" id=\"summary\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:80%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">R\u00e9alisations du pe 2018-2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"lead has-medium-font-size\">En 2023, les chemins de fer ont investi 2,9&nbsp;milliards de dollars dans les r\u00e9seaux canadiens. Les chemins de fer canadiens ont r\u00e9duit leurs \u00e9missions par des investissements dans le renouvellement de leur flotte, des technologies permettant d\u2019\u00e9conomiser du carburant, des am\u00e9liorations op\u00e9rationnelles et l\u2019utilisation de carburants faibles en carbone. Des progr\u00e8s significatifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans l\u2019utilisation de m\u00e9langes \u00e0 plus forte teneur en carburants renouvelables, et la technologie des locomotives \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e dans le transport de marchandises et de voyageurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Rapport de 2023 souligne les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par le secteur ferroviaire dans la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions, tout en investissant dans le d\u00e9veloppement de technologies permettant de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions \u00e0 z\u00e9ro. Ces investissements aident \u00e0 assurer que les chemins de fer demeurent le mode de transport terrestre de marchandises et de voyageurs le plus \u00e9co\u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis 2005&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L\u2019intensit\u00e9 des \u00e9missions de GES des chemins de fer marchandises r\u00e9gionaux et d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat local s\u2019est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 17,5&nbsp;%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019intensit\u00e9 des \u00e9missions de GES des chemins de fer marchandises de classe&nbsp;1 s\u2019est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 28,8&nbsp;%, alors que les \u00e9missions absolues de GES ont diminu\u00e9 de 8,9&nbsp;%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019intensit\u00e9 des \u00e9missions de GES des chemins de fer voyageurs intervilles s\u2019est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 34,2&nbsp;%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les \u00e9missions des principaux contaminants atmosph\u00e9riques ont \u00e9galement diminu\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on significative, notamment celles d\u2019oxydes d\u2019azote (-48,9&nbsp;%), de particules (-62,7&nbsp;%) et de dioxyde de soufre (-99,0&nbsp;%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2023, par des investissements continus dans la modernisation de la flotte, 88,7&nbsp;% des locomotives respectaient une norme d\u2019\u00e9missions et 93,2&nbsp;% \u00e9taient dot\u00e9es d\u2019un dispositif anti-ralenti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Le Rapport de 2023 est le premier rapport publi\u00e9 dans le cadre du protocole d\u2019entente (PE) 2023-2030 entre l\u2019ACFC et Transports Canada, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 conclu le 5&nbsp;d\u00e9cembre 2023.
