VIA Préférence members benefit from 10th anniversary of popular program with special offer
Montréal - VIA Rail Canada today announced that its
reward program for frequent travellers, VIA Préférence, will mark its 10th
anniversary by offering exclusive benefits to its members.
VIA Préférence members are entitled to an exceptional offer, earning up to 10 points per dollar by booking a trip in VIA's premium Easterly class on its Eastern Transcontinental train, the Ocean, between June 1 and June 30 for travel between June 2 and October 31, 2006. Thanks to this offer, VIA Préférence members can triple their points. Members in the Préférence category earn 3 points per dollar instead of 1, those in the Privilege category earn 6 points per dollar instead of 2, and travelers in the Premier category earn 10 points per dollar instead of 3. Members will earn points provided they book a minimum leg of travel - Montreal-Moncton. Admissible trips will include stations in the Corridor provided the final destination starting point is Moncton or further east.
