Canadian Pacific Railway Executive Appointments  
Fred Green, president and chief executive officer, Canadian Pacific Railway announces the following executive appointments, effective immediately.

Neal Foot has been appointed executive vice-president, operations. Neal was most recently senior vice-president, operations, a position he has held since August 2001. In this new position, Neal will increase his focus on strategic planning and people development within Operations.

Neal Foot has more than 35 years of experience with CPR in a broad range of operating positions throughout the railway. In 1990 he was appointed vice-president and chief operating officer of the Soo Line Railway. In 1993 he became vice-president, mechanical services. He was appointed vice-president engineering and mechanical services in 2000 and senior vice-president, operations in 2001.

Neal is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Civil Engineering and has a Master of Science in Business Management from Purdue University.

Neal is chairman of the SOMC committee of the American Association of Railroads, vice-chairman of the Senior Operations Management Committee (SOMC) of the Railway Association of Canada and a member of the Board of Directors of the Transportation Technology Center Inc (TTCI).

Brock Winter has been appointed as senior vice-president, operations. He will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the railway. Brock was most recently vice-president, operations and since January of this year has been responsible for field operations, engineering and mechanical. He has more than 25 years with Canadian Pacific Railway and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba. Brock's background includes marketing and sales, quality support, customer service, field operations and transportation which give him a broad understanding of the major influences on our operations performance.

Judy Harrower has been appointed vice-president, bulk. She was most recently assistant vice-president, agri-business. In this new position she will be responsible for all of our customer accounts in agri-business, coal, fertilizers and sulphur. Judy has more than 20 years of experience with CPR in marketing & sales, operations, commercial development and in corporate projects. She is a graduate of the University of Alberta and has an executive MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
