The RAC supports Bill S-4. However, it submits that it could have gone further in a number of key areas. The main area of concern is the ever increasing proximity between railway operations and everyday life in communities across the country. Proximity issues should have been addressed in the Bill. The second area requiring modifications to the Bill is the limitation of the number of new crossings.  (Click here for presentation pdf 127kb)
